As clearly taught in the bible faith is not only found in the New Testament but it is clearly seen in the Old Testament as recorded particularly in the book of Hebrews chapter eleven. This chapter not only gives a definition of what faith is, but it also shows that faith is what the patriarchs of old used as the reason for their beliefs and actions.

Many persons today reject the standard of pure morality set forth in the Bible as the standard that men must abide in when converted. Not only do they fight against the idea of sinless perfection, they point out the sins of the men of the Bible as evidence that no one can live sinless in this life.
